Support that evolves with people’s changing needs

We service the needs of thousands of community members by providing individualised support that helps people take control, improve the quality of their lives and face the future with confidence. Our staff will encourage you to share responsibility for your own recovery.

The Stepping Up Consortium has significant experience in working with marginalised people with complex needs such as people with Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) problems, Mental Health issues, Intellectual Disabilities, Acquired Brain Injuries, Families, Job Seekers and those involved with the Criminal Justice System, pre and post-release.

An effective and coordinated approach to support

We’re the combination of four not-for-profit agencies; Interact Australia, Odyssey House Victoria, TaskForce and Youth Projects. The Consortium formed in 2008 and quickly went on to win awards such as Not For Profit Network Partnership of the Year Award in 2009 and runner up for a Victorian Community Safety Award in 2010. Recognised by many as leading best practice in the field, our approach leverages the best of partner agencies while ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of a single program provider model.

Between our partners we have over 80 years experience in working with people with multiple and complex needs. Funded by Federal, State and Local Governments as well as Trusts and Foundations across many different programs we look forward to facilitating a bright future for those who turn to us for the high quality support we are known to provide.
